Just because they are white doesn't mean that's why I compared the two...when Wally came into this league he was a great athlete and could shoot the 3, but sucked on defense and shied away from contact.

Probably White. Assuming we sign Wafer back, its gonna be three-way battle between White, Chase and Taylor. But something tells me we're packaging some of these guys for a trade. Les isn't Paul Allen, you don't spend 2.5 million dollars just for someone you're not even sure will make the team...

    Both make it.

    Chase replaces Deke

    Taylor replaces Wafer

I think Jermaine Taylor is gonna be Donte Green 2.0, meaning that they are gonna tell him to shoot and score a lot of points in the summer league so that his stock soars, and morey has yet another tradeable asset. Dude said it himself in an interview- hes a scorer

otherwise- energy off the bench I would guess. I just dont see the rockets drafting 'projects' when yao is in his last year, and the rockets are approaching a crossroads.

Not impressed, 3 guys who will probably be out of the league in 2 or 3 years.

Not sure, I remember Morey said James White could go to the first round this year if he's in the draft.

You don't give Morey enough credit DD.

Really good chance this nets us something down the track.

Lets wait n see what Morey does with FA's.

Given the track record Morey has, why would you be so dismissive before these players even stop on the court? It boggles the mind.

Jeez, dude, give Morey some credit. Maybe these guys are diamonds-in-the-rough, or, at least, "genuine faux diamelles" (cheesy old infomercials), and now Morey can afford to make a larger trade?

I mean, damn, talk about cynical.

Donte was projected as a lottery pick. The hype and expectations were there. On the other hand, Taylor is another under radar pick, ie if he works out.

My guess is that some of these players are going to be with going to the suns or what ever team DM planning a trade with.

    What track record?

He has made good trades, but if you look at the draft picks....

Donte Green - too early to tell.
    Dorsey - sucks
    Landry - great pick
    Brooks - Adelman' s selection

If he can flip some of these assets to get a proven player than great, but this team is trying to win now....NONE of these players will help one iota towards that goal....

I am hopeful that he is going to flip some of them....in trades.....because as keeper picks, I really don't like any of them.

DD is usually cynical. Or at the very least, skeptical. Its part of what makes him so legendary around these parts.

    :D
