I remember hearing a lot of Tracy McGrady comparisons. In my opinion McGrady is a top 5 player in the league. 1.Shaq 2.Kobe 3.Duncan 4.Garnett 5.McGrady. I'm just saying that if we can add Wood at Sf with Mobley and Francis, this team would be incredible.

How did his work out go with the Rockets? I haven't heard about him in a long time.

Yes, that would be my ideal draft Ming and Woods.

This would be the 2nd best draft in Rocket history. Right behind the Hakeem draft in 1984.

I think a lot of factors have contributed to his drop from the top of the draft board. There's the precedent of Kedrick Brown for one. Also, scouts noticed that he doesn't play defense at all. You never know what will happen though, just have to wait and see.

Kedrick Brown is a good example and I also think Woods might be falling a bit because scouts might be comparing him to Rodney White.

    My guess....

The Hype came first, then people began seeing him and his shortcomming (defense) became obvious.

Not to get off topic, but that is my concern with Ming. The hype has come, but we havn't had a chance to see him and form an informed opinion.

No Woods. We have a team full of defensive liabilities as it is.
