At first i did not think like this. But...I think this guiy might be that good. To many scouts say he's good, and all the teams in the nba would love to have him so i think he's the real deal. Which brings me to my nest paragraph. what will his "real deal" stats be. At least: Pau Gasol numbers. At the most: 21ppg,12reb,3ast,4blk,.5stl,3to,36-40mpg. If he's a "bust" his 1st year #'s would be. At least: 5ppg,6reb(gets more reb than mo tay) 1ast, 1.5blk, .5stl,3to,20mpg. At the most: 10ppg,8reb,1.5ast,2blks,.5stl,3to,25-30mpg. I think he's gonna average 3 to's per game his first year. He has good numbers in the bust section, but its not number 1 pick type numbers.
I think Nowitski type first year #'s yould be reasonable. That year he put up: 20.4 Mpg 8.2 Pts 3.4 Reb
I'd actually expect more from ming because he's a #1 so he should contribute immediately IMO. second, he's 7'6 so he better get more boards than steve. finally because we suck so bad in the middle he should be able to get more than 20 min a contest. IMO : 13 pts 8 rebs 2.5 blks should be expected.
