You know, for a Game 7 in Los Angeles, where the huge presumption is that the Lakers will either win outright or be "handed" the victory if it's even close, I actually might take comfort that Joey Crawford is officiating. While I don't like him personally, he is one of the few referees in the league who won't be afraid to make a big call in the Rockets' favor late in a close game. He won't be intimidated by the home crowd or by the league's strong preference for a Kobe-Lebron Finals matchup. Trying to look on the bright side . . .
My prediction: Joey will be assassinated after this series and David Stern will be forced to resign for his brutal attempt to rig the game in favor of Kobe Bryant.
So f'n predictable. This league is an absolute joke. This definitely stinks to the high heavens. Expect Pau Gasol to aggressively go after Chuck Hayes. Any foul trouble on Hayes means that our interior defense is kaput. The two ticky-tack fouls early on Hayes in Game 5 were game changers -- the conspiracy theorist in me was thinking it was a stealth strategy employed by the refs (taking orders from David $tern who knows Hayes is a critical piece and without him his precious Lakers are golden). The refs can call a foul on every play if they so choose. That's what scares me.
I just hope Ron can channelize his emotions by playing through the referring and keep his focus on the job throughout the game. It's going to be a very physical game, really ugly. Our guys have got to get past it all and keep playing sound, fundamental basketball.
See this is what's funny to me. They are not even trying to be smart about this, do at least something to cover up the conspiracy and the evil plans to hide the league is dirty, corrupted, rigged and fixed. We all knew it, Lakers knew it, Rockets knew it, fans new it, Doug collins knew it, even Obama knew it yet they get away with it. Guess this shows how "white-collar and white coloured" crime is not a problem in the US. ****ing racists yankees
