I know Jackson has 9 rings, but Adelman clearly outcoached Jackson in this series. His adjustments in this series has been sensational!
I am wondering what the lakers will be if they are lack of Kobe and Gasol. Without Yao, T-Mac, Dike...Rox still beat the Full-Teamed Lakers
Speaking of dota. Does anyone play WoW here? I'd like to use an analogy to compare Rockets to Lakers. Rockets are like a 5s arena team with 3 healers that everyone on the team using 900 resilience. Slow and no flashy dunks but we are so resilient that even with low health we can still live through high bursts from rogues like Kobe. Lakers are a team with 4 dps and 1 healer with everyone on PVE gears. Flashy but no resilience at all. Kills fast but once you lived through the burst of damage, they are useless. LOL. Sorry for the off-topic here.
I was surprised he was so nonchalant during the interview after the 1st quarter. I wonder if he really cares about coaching anymore because if he does he has certainly lost the ability.
If Donaghy and David Stern didn't rig the Kings-Lakers series, Rick would have beaten Phil Jackson and got his first ever championship ring. It's time for a payback!
Screw Phil Jackson! What has he ever done when he HASN'T had argueably the best player in the the league? I just wish Ming was still healthy.... then the headline could read "That WAS zen - this IS Yao!" (with a picture of Phil and Kobe crying and consoling each other!) LMFAO!
There weren't any flashy dunks during this game? I'd argue that 3 healer teams aren't that boring... it's pretty satisfying watching the opponent's mana bars slowly inch downwards while your healers are taking turns drinking to full . Besides, healer dps (and damage in general) is bursty enough in wotlk to give a outlast team enough to kill opponents early. Okay maybe your analogy is better than I thought it was originally...
