I guess the silver lining is that Artest played well. His shooting touch was on. That comes and goes, but the way he bulldozed into the lane was impressive. Why can't he do that earlier in the game or every game??

Yao missed a bunch of gimmes that could have kept the game closer.

Next game we need Artest in the block more. The Lakers interior is too soft to stop him.

Brooks is terrible and really pissed me off. I'd like Barry to play some minutes.

    1) turnovers - ron and brooks were disgusting
    2) Yao needs to learn how to throw it down hard with 2 hands. a 7'6 giant guy should not be getting blocked at the rim
    3) Wafer was trying too hard to make up for last game, he needs to let the game come to him
    4) Battier's defense on Kobe looks good... but the hand in the face thing seems to have no effect on kobe. Since Battier has been a rocket, Kobe has averaged far above his normal amount of points against the Rockets. I dont know if its because Kobe tries harder to embarrass Battier when we play, or Battier's 1on1 defense against Kobe is vastly overrated
    5) rebounds. nuff said

This is just another test we have to overcome.

    It is possible.

Lakers 11-20 3s Rox 6-19 3s. Thats 15 points right there, that was the game.

Rox got burnt by the game plan to clog the paint, a lot of those 3s were made when 5 Rox were in the painted area.

TO differential was 17-11, not good but not the difference maker.

A bigger factor were some missed chip shots, Landry, Scola and Yao missed some point blank shots.

ADELMAN needs to reduce Yao's minutes. Playing him 40 minutes when he's not effective is not the way to win games. Yao should be playing no more than 9 minutes per quarter in order for him to be effective.

ADLEMAN is a joke with his sub pattern. Chuck Hayes plays great D and rebounds well. No reason why Hayes shouldn't be playing a bit more, especially when Landry can be the scorer.

    ADELMAN is a joke

how does that mean he cant shoot? what does scola shoot from the 3??? does that mean scola cant shoot???

check ur head out man...we already have enough 3 point chuckers...we play lowry and he is just as bad from the 3 as andre miller

now if u said rafer who shoots less than 40 percent from the field then u r right...but ur r****ded for saying andre miller is the same

We have to make three pointers to have a serious shot at winning games much less taking this series. Today, the Lakers outscored us by 15 from the three point line (11 made to our 6). That's the difference in the game. They made their threes and we didn't.

Also, we've gotten really, really careless in the series. Blowing too many dunks and layups and making too many careless passes that lead to easy baskets for the Lakers.

Kobe's two buzzer beater three pointers one at the end of the third and one at the end of the shot clock in the fourth really gave them a lift and kept the game out of reach for Houston.

Poor, poor games from Ron and Aaron. No one could run the offense - it's no wonder the more disciplined team took control in the second half.

We can't praise Brooks one game and say he sucks the next

What do people expect out of him, 20 pts and 10 ast every night?

Brooks is just not that material that can handle ball, especially read the offense which is soooooooooooo important. we lost due to this kid. i just don't understand why Brooks got so much trust by RA
if we don't change our starting PG, Brooks is biggest issure for our lost

Ron just had an off night.

WAY TOO MANY TURNOVERS, PRETTY MUCH STUPID PLAY OFFENSIVELY. IT LOOKED LIKE WE HAD NO PLAN. 6-25 IN THE THE THIRD. ARE DEFENSE KEPT US FROM GETTING BLOWN OUT!

tHE ROCKETS HAVE TO CONCENTRATE AS HARD ON THEIR EXECUTION ON THE OFFENSIVE END AS MUCH AS THEY DO OFFENSIVELY.

YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO GET YAO THE BALL IT'S NOT HIS FAULT. THEM FRONTING OPENS UP OTHER OPTIONS WHICH WE TOOK NO ADVANTAGE OF.

PEOPLE GOT TO MAKE THINGS HAPPEN. ALL I SAW WAS ONE ON ONE BALL. THAT HAS SERIOUSLY GOT TO BE ONE OF THE WORST GAMES WE'VE PALYED ALL SEASON.

IT WAS HARD TO WATCH BECAUSE WE CAN WIN SERIES IF WE PLAY AS A TEAM. AND TONIGHT WE DID NOT AT ALL. IT WAS UGLY AND PAINFUL TO WATCH!
