    OK - to be fair I don't "trash" Yao. Nobody is perfect, let's get that straight...

    but that being said, the guy just earned a free pass from criticism for quite a while.., the whole team did. Incredible effort tonight.

    When Yao went down my heart stopped. When the game resumed and they showed him heading to the locker room I started crying. :eek:(ony a few tears :D ) Then when he stopped and said he wanted to go back there and the look on his face made me even sadder.
    When he got back on the floor the whole room lit up.(I was at HOB). Everyone stood up the remainder of the game.
    I know how has a bagillion appreciation posts, but this showed how determined and strong he is. eff all you Yao haters claiming he is too soft. Yao is the best!!!

    A lot of them near the tunnel were also clapping when Yao came back

    So it's not all bad


    Anyways HELL YEAH. I was so frustrated when Yao went down, even more so when he began walking away in the tunnel but then he freaking came back

    Amazing game, amazing night

    why am I not suprised? I have been saying Yao is not soft since day one and I finally gave up talking sense to senseless haters.

    I was really scared when Yao went down tonight and felt relieved when he back to the game. Other than the big win for the Rockets, I also felt very happy to see my son who weared a Lakers 24 jersey cared Yao Ming as much as I did when Yao went down. This may sounds irrelevant, but I am sure quite a few people here understand it.

    you werent mistaken mate, the class of the laker fans.......
    when yao went down with rockets in the lead(4pts i think?) i was like frozen there, coz the hope of the series would just be blown right there and after what happened in the tunnel and he went back, i just felt saluting to the man

    I'm a little disappointed in the amount of people who have new respect for yao after tonight. He's always had the heart of a warrior, this isn't new.

    also, I thought the laker's fans were definitely cheering when yao was walking back. I'd have to rewatch it but at the time I was happy that they respected him in that way.

    I'm both a Lakers and Rockets fan, and I have to admit that when Yao made that shot after coming back, i was yelling for joy in my car and was about to cry.

    I've never been more proud of the big guy.
