That... is the most g'damn pimp thing I have ever seen.

As unexpected as it is, when I think about it further it ultimately seems pretty suitable for Ron Artest; having really come of age in late 80s/early 90s New york. There is no doubt in my mind that Ron was one of the freshest dudes in an era that prided itself on "freshness"; so you know this isn't the first, and probably not the last time Artest has had designs shaved into his hair...

Either way though, this particular hair cut is extraordinarily dope, but I'm really surprised he didn't go so far as to get Kobe's name with a line thru it or something. Ah well, Kobe still knows he can't score on Artest!

Finally, I say if the Rockets miraculously pull out the series win against LA, and they make it to the WCF Yao really has to adopt a von wafer style mohawk. And while he's at it, I'd really like to see him start sporting some old Kareem style goggles... I feel like someone has to properly represent the googles in the modern NBA, and what better player to do that than Yao Ming?

Though Artest and Gibson have done this recently, some fans might remember seeing this in Rockets playoff history from one Anthony Mason.

Mason and Artest shared quite a few similarities outside of the shaved head design. Muscular types that loved to play defense. Both were journeymen that also had rap videos.
