how idiotic... Anyway it´s been a while since 1 post rookies are suddenly voting and appearing here. I bet a few users will get banned if someone compares the ip adresses.
I don't think it is necessary. In fact, Yao won the vote in Yahoo. All nba fans know Yao's impact on that series.
Scola had a couple of bad games too, just like Yao. The difference is that nobody expect him to score 20 pts every game, while everyone want at least 20 and 10 from Yao. That's why you feel "Yao backed down a bit" while "Scola never failed to show up". If both of them score 15 pts, it's a bad game for Yao and a good game for Scola. The only argument one can make for Scola is that he is truly underpaid for his performance. So, dollar by dollar, Scola is by far the most valuable player on the team.
Yao! without him, Luis would not have so many shots, so would others. But Luis is awesome to make most of shots!!!Comparing to AB......
The thing about Yao is, he performed what was expected of him only, whiles Scola achieved much more than the fans expected even for his low salary. That alone should be enough to make him an MVP of the series in my opinion. Yao did his part, but Scola added much more.
This poll proves my point that some people on clutchfans are just basically haters and young. Yao Ming is leading with 44%? Are you kidding me. Scola was far better and consistent from the 1st game til closing. Yao's presence on the court was huge yes but Scola should have far more votes than Yao.
dollar by dollar, it is wafer... seriouly, dollar by dollar, you guys should go wal-mart get yourself some "buy one get another free".
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba Which player had the biggest impact on the Portland-Houston series? * o Brandon Roy o 27% o 27% * o Yao Ming o 42% o 42% * o Ron Artest o 26% o 26% * o LaMarcus Aldridge o 5% o 5% 54918 Total Votes Where is Luis?
Just refering to game 1, when Yao and Scola treated equally, what happened? Unnecessary mess up by tracing all the six games.
