you are very very wrong on this one, my friend.

go check realgm.com, basketball fans over there are normally talk on multi teams. And Yao definitely is a top 5 player in most fan's eys in recent years.

You're not really doing this thread to give your opinion on it, if you did you'd answer in that thread, not create another thread all about it. You just want to attack T-mac and fight with other people, and I really can't think why unless you're really starved for attention. This shouldn't even be a poll everybody and their aunt knows that a healthy (and motivated) Tmac is much better than a healthy (and always motivated Yao), especially with all the discrimination and new rule changes going on.

Why not celebrate the first round victory instead of posting negative threads like this? Yeeesh

Yao. T-Mac is the better player (que: the obvious when healthy/motivated/whatever copouts) but Yao dominates a position that few can. He's one of the best low post scorers in the league and gets doubled probably more than any other post scorer. Given the scarcity of quality big men like that and the abundance of talented scoring wings, that reduces the advantage T-Mac has in the talent/ability department.

Plus, as others have mentioned: you can't argue with the results. A Yao-led team just advanced us into the 2nd round for the first time since 1997.

If you do this survey 5 years ago,i will choose T-mac.
Now i obviously choose yao,not because i'm a chinese but because of the attitude to the game.

    NO.

Please check out the datas on 82games.
When Tmac is on court, Rockets are losing more points per 100 possessions, which is always the case during his stay in Houston.

    Data dose not lie.

DH got owned by Yao every time. But I do agree he is officiated better. AJ, who? Oh yeah, the leader of the 12th seed in western conf :D .

"a nice little player" , not a basketball fan in normal state will say that.

Not just healthy, must be a Healthy and Motivated Tmac. I still remember his defense against Kobe and Dirk. What a pity. He is a defense liablity since then.

Remember the Roy last seconds 3 point shot? Who's guarding him? Tmac! If he tangles or bothers him for 0.2 seconds, we would win that game.

For now. I will take a health Louis, Ron, Von and any of them over a Healty and Lazy Tmac. Not to mention Yao.

Umm how about both? I mine as well add healthy Artest there too, since you know, all 3 are on the same team.

I like that way of thinking. Neither alone can do much, but given help and a healthy team, the sky's a limit.

All the people choosing McLady are obviously bias against Yao because of race or ignorance. Yao undoubtedly led the Rox this year. No question.

That's impossible because on a Tmac team his teammates can't play cause he threw them under the bus

Wait a healthy Kobe couldn't take his team past the first round without Gasol, so by that logic, you would choose Yao over Kobe?? Obviously your statement didn't take into consideration the role players of each team. Contrary to what you think, yes role players matter, even for Kobe Bryant.

This thread isn't about role players or Kobe.
