    i would love it if:

steve smith stopped saying the rockets need to go into yao ever play. we know. don't you know that he's being denied the ball?

    and if:

kamla stopped talking about that trend about winning the first quarter means winning the game. it's just a trend, not a rule.

Does anyone else find it weird that NBA Network is basically running those infomercial type commercials during a playoff game.

    Are they really that small?

    Scola on fire!

Does Yao know where he is?

Consider the last 2 games, then consider how Yao is already being shut down.

You know the Rockets lost after a 2-0 lead in 2004 after Cuban camplained about the unstoppable McGrady-Yao roll?

The refs did allow Yao to pick to open McGrady up without calling moving pick. The Rockets milk points from that play back then, just like how the Rockets milk from Yao scoring low post now. If they shut Yao down like this, I don't expect us to win the rest of this series.

That lob by Artest midway through the quarter was just about the most boneheaded play I've seen in a long time. Combine that with his shot selection in game 4, and I'm left wondering if he has any thoughts going through his skull out there.

This is the answer to the sandwiching of Yao. If Scola keeps this up, it'll force the Blazers to go to plan B. And then it's Yao's turn to do some damage.

if scola plays like this all night and the rox win..i would say he alone has lifted the Rox to win this 1st round this year.
