No I'm not that either. Again, just telling it like it is. Hating on what, I'm happy that we won, even more happy we did it without McPain sitting on the bench. It was a shooting foul because Battier did hit him up top on the hand.
I like Chuck a lot. Even when we were coming back in the 4th,I was hoping that he would come in for defense.
I remembered the series two years ago, when he just become a father, in Game 2 he made a hustle, teammates made fast break and he bent over, applaud in back court with huge smile. In game 5, he made a similarly awesome stop on Deron and iced the win. Thank you chuck, it's good to have you on team and this time we can expect a good result because of you.
Just because, I located these threads just for reference sake (google) "Taking Yao out for defensive purpose at the end of the games" http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=164941&page=1&pp=20 "Should benching Yao be an option?" http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=140379 I didnt like the move that much. But hey it worked beautifully
HOLY COW THAT WAS A HUGE PLAY ON BRANDON ROY!!!!!! Thank you Chuck for everything, including being such a nice guy to regular people on the street.
But does he get there to make that block if Chuck doesn't take the charge first...? I don't know if it's injury or age but Battier is not the defensive juggernaut that he once was. He totally got beat by Roy on that play and had to hustle back to get into play. Did you see him fall down? That shows how bad he was beaten that he had to come flying in like that.
Master Chuck. No need to do lots of things. Just flash your key move and change the game...Bow to Master Chuck
If JVG had played Deke for defensive purposes against the Jazz in Game 7,it might not have come down to getting offensive rebounds for the win. Great job by Chuck.
I don't think he would stopped him without Chuck.Don't see age or injury being a factor, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to hustle back. Roy is very good.
Had to guard against the 3 in that possession, the 2 was PREFERRED. All that other stuff of catching up from behind describes any other defender in that situation, Bruce Bowen included.
Exactly. With a player like Roy, you want to chase him off that 3-point line in that situation. A 3-pointer would have been devastating. Battier defended it as well you can expect.
