Also why did he keep telling us to go the NBA.com to vote Adelman for coach of the year? was there some dramatic change in format I was unaware of? marc stein will not be pleased.
"Heh heh heh heh heh..." ALWAYS cracks me up! Whenever there's an uncomfortable silence, or whenever Clyde just says something, "heh heh heh heh..." always follows it. I guess he just doesn't wanna get shut down by Bill or something.
Ron has the ball at the beginning of the play He dribbles around in a counter clockwise motion surrounded by four Blazers for almost the entire shot clock Other players are pleading for the ball as Ron rounds the carousel A couple of seconds are left, the clock seems to tick faster Ron takes a final dribble, takes two steps left, and shots the ball *his patent move* SWISH!!! Ball goes in nothing but net! 'JUST LIKE THE COACH DREW IT UP!' -Clyde
Drexler in last night's game when Blake and Brooks were both diving for the ball: "Blake committed offensive interference" didn't know Clyde was such a big football fan
this may not really belong here, but its a pretty hilarious clip of Drexler working it with Hannah Storm without even really trying http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhlAtdao-1M&feature=PlayList&p=94EF821975C633BB&index=23
I like how Clyde broke out the "heh heh heh heh" even while they were talking about Barkley's injury in Philly.
the funniest is in the beginning on the telecast when bill welcomes everyone..and then clyde proceeds with talking about the previous game or a superstar. he takes on a diff voice and he is like..ALRIGHT..check this out..here he is taking it inside..now watch again..nothing but net...and OHHH....YAOOO MINGG. that's why he is the great wall. [/end of attempt at cool, movie trailer guy voice] using video to illustrate a point and pointing out the obvious from a video are 2 different things. what clyde does: [video of yao's hook shoot] clyde: here he is taking a hook shot...NO DUH! what he should do: clyde: yao has a variety of moves near the basket..the jump hook..blah blah..blah. [as he is talking, diff clips of yao's moves]
Clyde in a regular season game last year: "if the rockets can score more points than the opposition, they should win this game" Awsome
I often attribute that to balls getting tipped by three or four players where it winds up in the hands of the initial passer who lays it in or dunks it. Those are awesome pingpong plays!
Thanks Clutch for this: "If the Rockets contain Brandon Roy, they have a better chance of winning this game." - Clyde Drexler http://www.twitter.com/clutchfans
Travis Outlaw crosses Landry and falls down Clyde: thats one of thoese "wanna get away" moments LOL@@!! you know from those southwest commercials!! drexlerism > english language
Anytime he's talking basketball, he prefaces his statements with, "That's what you call......" "That's what you call a dunk." "That's what you call good defense." "That's what you call good ball movement." Oh, and also, "Night in and night out." He likes that one.
