feel sad, but I loved that he was upbeat and smiling when answering questions. He doesn't deserve to go out like this.

We need to get to the finals, and maybe Deke will pull a Willis Reed for us. Please let this happen.

I've been a Rockets fan since I was 3...about 25 years...I've never been as depressed about something Rocket related as watching Deke go out like this....So sad right now....need a hug....Just his lockerroom and presence on the bench makes such a huge morale difference...I hope he is good enough to be sitting with the team during the rest of the playoffs... :(

I hope it's not anything major. Deke's a warrior fighting hard in his last play even after he buckled his left knee.

From how his leg bent, it would be his MCL, which is rare.
So maybe. maybe, he will come back.
    Fingers crossed.

We have to play for him, no question about it.

He supported this team through EVERYTHING while he was here, and when he was called upon, he answered the call.

He never worried about minutes, never worried about offense, he was one of the last of a dying breed, an all around TEAM player.

At game 3 we should make it known in the stands how much we appreciated him in houston, be loud for DEKE Houston.

Here's my idea. Get the photoshoppers and designers to work out a tribute flyer/t-shirt. Give them out at next game.

    Idea:
Remember, Sam Houston was wounded in the leg at the Battle of San Jacinto.

Maybe change the famous painting of Santa Anna surrendering to a wounded Sam Houston to Roy surrendering to a wounded Deke.

Deke= Great Man, Great Teammate, Great Player......

Rockets better play hard the rest of these playoffs for Deke, because he sure played hard for them.

    Get well soon

The career of a veteran legend who never got old was ended by a natural born old man. This hurts so much more than Tmac broke down.
