If Yao should leave because he will never live up to the expectations of Houston, like winning a ring before ten years in the league like it took Dream, what team would you like to see him on? Besides Houston!

For the Yao lovers and haters.

Just forecasting for his future free agency.

I'm hoping that Yao can win a ring with Houston but if not, then probably the Lakers. LA is a really big market even compared to Houston. I just hope Yao's talent/skill set gets him a ring because it would be a shame if he didn't.

Jerry Sloan would probably be happy to have him. I think that he might utilize him the same way he utilized Mark Eaton.

In fact, he might get Eaton out of broadcasting for the team to work as an assistant coach just to work with Yao mainly on playing defense.

I love the rockets and have no connection to Yao but I do sympathize with him with the overkill on the Dream comparisons.....its like people comparing you to your brother or something.....let people be perfect for who they are and imperfect for who they are.

I would root for him no matter where he plays except for when he is playing against the rockets.

I don't think yao would fit well in Utah or Lakers. Its not pretty when the rockets run motion offense with yao in the game.

How about Cleveland? That tandem will definitely bring a lot of WCs for Cleveland.

I don't know how Yao would fit in the triangle offense, but Kobe is the only player who demands so much attention that the opposition dare not leave him alone. This could make things easier for Yao to operate in the low block.

I don't want to see Yao on any other team apart from the Rockets.

Right now his best fit would be the Celtics. Their staff would know how to prioritize getting him the ball, his teammates are unselfish, Yao would get that weakside defender he needs so badly and the icing on the cake is that KG can also hit the long jumpers. Pierce can take the clutch possessions. The outside shooting is abundant.
