wow! i googled it cause i never heard of gulf shores before. i love the white sands and the waves it looks very pristine is it expensive to stay there? i can make the drive but i would really like a 3 night vacation somewhere there any recommendation? money is tight here
i went with a bunch of friends spring '07 to see widespread panic play at a new outdoor venue there called the wharf... very very cool, right on the water. the water and beach is practically identical to that of destin or pensacola, so it's real nice. we were a group of maybe 8 of us and we rented a 3 bedroom house right on the beach... definitely recommended, and although i cant recall exactly how much it was, it definitely wasn't too expensive.
Stayed there froa week during Ike. We had a real nice condo run by some very nice people. We are planning on going back this summer when we can actually enjoy the area and not be worrying about how much damage our house took. Got our place thru http://www.resortquest.com they were very helpful and the condo was very nice.
Dude Ocean Springs is the beach, no worries about that bull**** down there. Go enjoy and don't worry! ROLL TIDE!
