I hope he will be ok. Unfortunately, I also kind of hope that Adelman and the Rockets give him limited minutes in the next game so that he doesn't over do it. I know even flesh wounds can be traumatic thing and he should ease back into his regular routine rather then jump in.

Team is cursed, Carl has been playing unbelievable since coming back from the ankle sprain. Who would of thought some crazy random crap like this would happen.

I had actually heard Carl lives in a townhouse just East of downtown (across 59). That is an area the city and developers have long tried and continue to try and improve, and truth be told, the situation had gotten considerably better, with nice, middle to high end townhomes going in. I imagine Carl was attracted his rookie year to the proximity to the Toyota Center and that for a baller in his rookie season as a 2nd round pick, its affordable. Hopefully, though, with a long term contract in hand, and being a good time to buy anyway, Carl moves in the offseason!

assuming that is where he lives...

Carl's a lucky, lucky man. So glad to hear that he's OK.

I know it's not gonna happen, but I hope they catch the ****s that did this.

wasn't there someone here who said they lived close to Carl? I can't remember who it was, but they said they or someone in their family had waved to him or something.

I'm glad it wasn't more serious.

Is he out until the playoffs? I hope he still has his explosion when he returns.

Given the worst possible outcome of that situation, you ought to reexamine what you consider to be lucky. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the worst thing that could happen, Carl probably got a 3.

After home games they have snacks prepared, maybe not after away games.
