maybe in some games we are. But we can't win most of the games without yao. I have been thinking that sometimes our victory without yao is kind of due to the unfamiliar. I mean, the players of other teams must have learned a lot about how to play against the rockets with yao. But yao's absence make them confuse. We use different players, different combinations. The opponent can't figure out what to do immediately.

    note to self.........

dont ever come to the board after a win or loss for that matter....give it some time for clutch to clean up the inevitable knee jerks........they are like clockwork

man the junk that this garm has become....for real

THE DEFINITON OF ISANITY IS REPEATING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND EXPECTED A DIFFERENT RESULT :p

I think we are surely better with YAo,but we need to play Lowry in the 4th Q instead of AB.
That's why we win today,we have Lowry in,and he finish the game, not shot-first AB....... ;)

The real reason for Rox's Win or lose, is not withou Yao,

it's cuz Lawry stand on the court in the 4th quarter ,instead of Brooks!!!!

Definitely not. I think New Orleans might have been somewhat caught off guard tonight because they were preparing for a Yao centric offense.

Use some f'king logic ok? Given a 35 percentage of bad oranges in both a pack of 168 and a pack of 65, and you will gladly take the pack of 65 for the same money because its quality is better?

who cares? It took this country more than 200 years to recognize it's ok for a black to marry a white (Loving v. Virginia, 388 U.S. 1 (1967)). It'll be probably another 200 years for it to recognize it's ok to accept an Asian as a MSM idol. I say Yao go back where you get due respect that you deserve.

I believe the primary reason for that is Dikembe Mutombo - the best backup C in the league. Deke gives us an upgrade at defense and rebounding. The next reason to that is the role players stepping up their game and playing more of a team-oriented offense, which makes up for the offense we lose with Yao gone. Force feeding one player leads to inefficiency, and choking away games when it doesn't work. Tonight, our 4th quarter lead kept increasing till the very end. Quite a surreal feeling.
