I wouldn't say disaster 4th quarter. You take away that 3 pointer by Smith that had no bearing on the game and we lost the quarter by 7. Not a good quarter by any means, but we didn't do anything wrong. We didn't try to force it into Yao. We didn't settle for jumpers. We didn't play bad defense. We DID get to the FT line (just missed the FT shots). We DID move the ball around.

I totally agree. Those things that we did tonight at the end of the game, I always felt that our enemies in the playoffs would do those type of things to pull out these type of ugly games. But seeing the Rockets get this kind of win is really great to see. As Rockets fans...we should be excited.

Both teams play back to back and both teams are tired. So it is really not a very good game for both teams. But I am glad Rox take a win home.

I missed the game...Everyone was talking about Yao's ''dumb'' foul. Someone tell me what happened please?

Blowing a lead to a playoff team who is one of the best teams at home? On a b2b?

I don't think that win was so ugly.
I think it was beautiful (except for the free throw shooting)

Chuck Hayes with the diving save out of bounds.

Scola a beast on the boards.
AB lighting it up from the outside.
    Lowry, again, solid.
    Yao with some clutch shots.
Battier with a clutch three and some stellar defense.

And the foul calls on Scola to finish the game were atrocious.
With about 4 minutes to go we got some awful calls. Awful.
AB blew by Chauncy twice, and the layups just didn't fall.
And we still hung on to win. (CHUCK HAYES diving save!!!) love it.

I forgot to mention that Artest was a beast
(but he is that so consistently I had overlooked mentioning it)

I couldn't agree more. Every team makes a run in the NBA, and it isn't like Denver is a bunch of scrubs. A win is a win especially in the Western Conf.

It's nice to know that they could actually win with Scola having an off game, Yao fouling out and poor FT shooting.

Sometimes I think the Rocks exist to drive me mad! Made enough mistakes to give Denver a chance. It shouldn't have been that close. The Nugz looked like a bunch of fish out there, floppin' all over the place. They should find some shame, somewhere.

He committed his 6th foul (a reach-in) by fouling Chauncey Billups near mid-court. If the Rockets had lost, oh brother!

quality win off a b2b and that's always good. The late game situations are still scary, yao was rolling before the dummy move. The missed ft are part of fatigue. Every game is a playoff game and hopefully they'll just keeping playing well.

Shane said that Billups just blotched the layup. The play by Chuck though can be described by only one word "Epic".
