    Rockets take Phoenix. YEA.

Aaron Brooks had a career high 30 points. Go Aaron! You had a hell of a night. But I swear, if you shoot that much again, you're officially on notice with me.

I like our power forwards but they need some extra free throw practice after tonight. 3-6 for Scola and 4-8 from Landry from the free throw line. Kept the game too close for comfort at the end there.

Luckily Nash missed that open 3 because it would have been Portland all over again.

Adelman needs to look at this tape and realize that throwing it into Yao every single possession isn't what this team needs in the 4th quarter.

Agreed on all of them. Maybe it's just me, but It reminded me so much of Hakeem-John Starks. Even Bill mentioned that. The biggest difference is that Hakeem blocked that shot of Starks. Yao almost blocked it, but hey.... He still missed :D

    Brooks performed well tonight.
    I liked his game...
...but his other numbers do deserve some scrutiny.

3 assists with 4 turnovers is a bit concerning.

Yea, I'm kind of scratching my head too. You're a good finisher but not a good closer?

    Does not compute.

I'm saying he should play in the 4th quarter, finishing parts of the game. But I'm not saying he has to be the closer. Just like Scola. He can play the last minutes of the game, but he doesn't have to be our guy.

i did not get to watch the game, but i'm checking the scores via espn gamecast.

What did happen to yao on his free trow that he blew? He continue playing, hence he should not be injured. And rox still have the lead, so it cant be nerves. So what is it?

Whoever started that thread about scorekeepers intentionally undercounting Yao's Blocked Shots was right. I counted at least 5 blks tonight and he gave him 2!! Again, if the NBA won't even give Yao his statistics, how are they going to give him a championship?

Yao, Brooks played well, co-player of the game. Artest made some shoots. Scola played well in the first quarter. Loved the energy from Carl, Lowry and Mutombo.
