Scola did fine man. Landry wasnt lighting it up or anything. I wanted to see Scola and Landry out there together. Yao cant go out to defend the 3 point shot and his rebounding was terrible at the end. I love the man but I wanted to strangle him near the end.

Regarding Scola's offense... he got 10 points in the first half. In the second half nobody would pass him the ball and as usual he is never posted up so its hard to say what would have happened if they would go to him. The Rockets would rather go to Yao again and again even if Yao is about to collapse from exhaustion.

As for Wafer, he wasnt playing great but we needed legit 3 point threats out there besides Artest. Battier and Barry couldnt get themselves open. You need someone out there that can put it in the floor if necessary. If not for Kyle Lowry we wouldnt have had a ghost of a chance at the end.

Barry before. Remember why we signed Barry.

He pass and plays smart, that's enough. Selfish ballhogs help you win some games, but they are not solid. If want to compete with consistence against Utah type of teams, you need players like Brent Barry. Thats why that players have some rings, and others like Wafer are waived. Though, but it is like that.

this will continue, i think, until the ROX have yao for one full off-season. they need him hear...they need to feed him full of the right, mass-building food, work his butt out in the weight room...let Artest take him over to westside...or better yet, Fondi rec...and let him run all day with guys from the old neighborhood who will talk noise at him all day while they play him and bang him and make him HARD.

One good off-season over here...thats all i think theyve ever needed.

Yao goes home over the offseason and plays for old coaches with an old mindset. They totally de-program him...he has to relearn the NBA culture EVERY season.

    EXACTLY!

If the Nuggets lose 2morrow we are right back in 3rd and none of the position changes.

The 3rd seed is still ours to lose, and I expect us to beat the Suns as they play no defense and Yao always shows up against Shaq and Dwight.

    What did he say.

I really want to see he goes off on the court when he gets unfair treatment. No more Mr. Nice guy, take it to the ref. I really don't mind he gets ejected for that kind of stuff.

Yao went on a rant about the offensive fouls he got the past couple of games in his post-game interview.

you mean the culture that allows people to pummel him without penalty? he can't even simply run to a spot and post up anymore.

    I feel sorry for Pheonix.

But seriously, Yao gets abused EVERYNIGHT and goes to the line about 3 times...that is silly.

While Kobe Bryant...A SHOOTING GUARD gets more calls than Yao...and don't eve get me started on Wade.
