They should do another poll to see how many NBA players have actually heard of Luther Head...

yao turns it over a lot while dribbling but that's more the fact that he's just slow as hell and his dribble has the farthest to travel with him being 7'6. if you just had big men dribble around by themselves, yao would probably be pretty good. that behind the back highlight has always amazed me. he did it so fluidly while on a full run and while being surprised right as he turned around. and shaq is ridiculous to have up there. he knows how to dribble.

of course polls like this are going to be slanted to famous players. luther head might be the worst dribbler (and passer) i've ever seen play guard in the nba. but how many players are going to think of luther head off the top of their head when asked this question? not many (edit: lol at Blue Brick).

Luther Head could also be in both categories. If you mean most annoying defender to have on your team.

Funny list. Howard is a horrible dribbler.

I think Yao at least is a better dribbler than Yi Jianlian. But you don't want Yao dribble because his reflex is too slow and he is so damn tall so his pocket will be easily picked if any opposing player is near him.

WRONG. He accidently tipped a pass from Howard to Dirk on offence one possesion this year. That counts maybe 1/2 a touch.

That's based on a sample of 190 NBA players? Do we have 190 Centers playing in the NBA? Do they say under what situation did they base their findings on? Being guarded by one player, or being doubled- or triple-teamed? Even if you are the best dribbling player whether or not you can score or make your teammates better is another matter. I would rather see a team cut the dribbling and move the ball faster for better shot selections.

Why do you always have to disagree with something others said? To show off your superior basketball knowledge?
