Who was that new guy on the bench last night in the suit. Was there another filler in the trade? I thought our roster was full after the trade.

is that foyle? I hope so because Foyle can act as yao's backup in the regular season, though he is not much better than dampier

If I'm not mistaken it was former NBA'er Shawn Respert, the Rockets "Director of Player Programs"

We only got Kyle Lowry and Brian Cook in the trade. The rest of the players in the deal went to Memphis along with a 1st Round Pick.

    This Year:
Lowry and Cook's salaries came $200,000 short of Rafer's.

    Next Year:
The combined salaries will cost us $200,000 more than Rafer's.

So essentially, the contracts of the players exchanged were a wash.

the grizzlies got them in the trade we did not

there were three players in suits last night on the bench

    luther, dorsey and landry.

shawn respert usually sits just behind the bench and his chair doesnt face the court but is faces towards the opposite basket. He usually gets up and is in the huddle or welcoming players back into the huddle during timeouts though

You likely are talking about Shawn Respert. He looks like he can still play but is a coach now.
