get over this. if Morey declares a trade within 30 min before the deadline, he is more of a drama queen than tmac.
actually a trade can only be announced once it gets submitted to the league and gets approved. with all the chatter that is going on and the flood of possible deals going into the league office there are a lot of deals that do not become public until an hour after the deadline passes. if you see nothing around 4pm eastern than morey did not make a trade or could not make one most recent one i can remember is the mo taylor trade to new york 4 seasons back trickled through like 30 mins after the deadline passed.
no one is asking for those 3 guys to be moved unless it's a really special deal. but something like landry for charlie V or warrick would be nice. they need more length at PF/C.
Personally, I don't mind that we hold back on all the big trades.. But not even a minor trade to get picks or set us up for better free agency next year?... I will be disappointed if the Rox has the same roster by 3pm EST today..
no trade is a good trade i agree but if there is a trade that can make the team better why not go for it.... As for the trade deadline its not exactly at 3pm eastern 2pm ct. I believe you can make trades after the deadline is over. I think they give you an extra 30 mins or so. Im not sure.
So you are saying the deadline is an hour and 6 min away for those in the east and just 6 min away for Houston?
I'll be fine with no trade as long as Tracy is out of the line up for the rest of the season. This team (without Tracy on the court) has been so much fun to watch the last couple of months. With Artest looking like he is pretty well healed, the offense starting to click, and the defensive intensity rising, I think we're well positioned to make the playoffs and do some damage. Think about this, without Tracy gumming things up we probably would have won at least 3 of those games we lost to really crappy teams. With that we'd be 3rd in the West. That's nothing to sneeze at.
