Three-way deal between Houston, Memphis and Minnesota...... Houston trades: Artest/Landry/Head Houston receives: Mike Miller/Mike Conley/Hakim Warrick Memphis trades: Mike Conley/Hakim Warrick/Darko Milicic Memphis receives: Artest/Rashad McCants Minnesota trades: Mike Miller/Rashard McCants Minnesota receives: Landry/Darko/Head I threw this together for fun. It's pretty obvious why we do it. Memphis gets rid Darko's bad contract and receives cheap, expiring talent in return. Minnesota moves two players they're trying to get rid of and receives Landry in return as a means to offset the bad contract they receive in Darko. Darko helps immediately by filling the void at center due to Al Jefferson's injury. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=avq9yv (I don't know how to post screen shots like some of you have been doing)
No u cant, and brand was in trade rumors before he was out for a whole season, just cause your injured doesnt mean they cant plan trades for when u come back
Hopefully. The wild card in all that is what Mike Conley's value really is. I remember reading how Memphis might have turned down an offer of Ramon Sessions/Joe Alexander for Conley. If true, I guess Memphis likes to pretend like Conley hasn't been a bust so far. I don't know. Maybe MemphisX or somebody knows what's going on with the Conley situation. No GM is going to admit making a mistake but sooner or later you reach a point where you move in a different direction.
I think memphis managment are slapping theirselves for not taking it. Session's > Conley right now. I've never seen conley ball hard like sessions is doing. But, I'd do the trade even if conley wasnt included, Maybe getthe draft pick from them that we traded to them that we got from them? Lol....
One of the guy's i've heard rumors and talks about on this board is Amare, but getting him supposedly would come at a cost of our 2 young stars, Brooks and Landry, but i think i've come up with a trade to satisfy both party's: Houston Recieves: Amare Stoudemire, Leandro Barbosa Phoenix Recieves: Tracy McGrady, Aaron Brooks, Carl Landry. Our line up would look something like this: Alston/Barbosa Wafer/Barry (or Barbosa) Artest/Shane Amare/Scola/Chuck Yao/Amare or Scola/Chuck I believe this trade gives us more shooting and energy with Shane, Scola, AND Barbosa coming off the bench, plus amare i believe would be a nice compliment to Yao.
I thought Clutch was going to sticky this until the trade deadline. If not, we would be seeing trade threads all over the board.
ESPN TRADE MACHINE says t-mac head and dorsey for dunleavy, foster and tinsley. this is a realistic trade IMO. dunleavy is very similar to tmac. he can even play the 4 at 6'9. has the ability to handle and make passes. shoots the 3 very well. foster is a hustling, active and big pf/c who is a bigger, better version of chuck. he can play the 4 and effectively backup yao. think z/varajeo combo. and tinsley is what we have to take back in order for indiana to agree to this. supposedly he's in shape. but we don't really need him. anything he provides would be an unexpected plus. guys like mike and jeff move without the ball and play smart. precisely what we need. we would have a supreme rotation. alston/brooks/barry/dunleavy/tinsley dunleavy/wafer/barry/artest battier/artest/dunleavy/landry scola/artest/landry/foster/dunleavy/battier/hayes yao/foster/scola/landry/mutumbo that is what i call options. and more suited to play adelman offense.
If we lived in a perfect world AND I were the Rockets' GM... I would do any of these trades: (This isn't in the GARM because the thread would be locked instantly and I'd lose my member status. This is only for entertainment purposes so throw up some of the most ridiculous trades possible.)
Not really a "Perfect" world if everybody else has moronic GMs who would actually approve of those trades. Your title should be "In my fantasy" or "When I Play NBA 2K9/NBA Live."
Still like GSW players: http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.php?tradeid=5016587 Artest + Landry for Maggette + Randolph GSW saves a ton of money, gets rid of Randolph, gets Landry and an Artest rental
