You're asterisks and letter u are in the wrong spot. Also there's no choice in the poll for Houstonians who currently live elsewhere.
I was 5 during our first championship run, and the Rockets winning the championship was huge to me. I was lucky growing up, and my dad had season tickets next to Robert Horry, so I got to meet him and get his autograph. I have been to many games in the summit and a few in the compaq center, and after school I plan on getting some season tickets of my own. I follow the rockets closer then the texans or the astros, and maybe miss 5 games tops a season (watching on tv that is). Thats why I watch
I live in Houston, they're my team. Also, I'm too emotionally attached. No matter how bad we are, no matter how good we are, I'll always be rooting.
At beginning, I watched Rockets because of yao. But I loved JVG's game and I am a big fan of Rockets role players, Rafer/Scola/Hayes/Battier. I am also a big fan of RonRon. I think I'm one of the first if not the first one in this forum said that Rockets should and could trade for Ron with expired contracts and draft picks long time ago. I believe that Rockets had enough talents to win WC. Only coach and health status may stop them.
NBA Jam on Super Nintendo circa 5th grade. Dream/Thorpe/Maxwell = UNBEATABLE! The rest is all history......
LOL~~~ Nice one. I'm on the opposite, I just stopped watching recently coz i don't want to feel the pain.
b/c I grew up in Houston and unlike the Oilers they didn't leave. They are also the only team I've ever followed from start to finish (still till this day) that ever won a Championship.
