Yeh. I dont think Shane is going anywhere. He is probably the best fit with yao, and since were building around yao it only makes sense to keep the guys who play well with him.
While I agree with that. You have to admit that having Yao as the vocal point of the offense means you have to surround him with good post entry passers and shooters who also defend the perimeter well. Shane fits that mold to a T. You can't just surround Yao with guys who look to score off the dribble because that leads to yao getting less shots. And I think our record is almost perfect when yao scores 20 or more.
man i just went through like 30 pages of this madness.. and I swear.. someone better call this dude out if nothing happens. I mean, it's just too easy to say some major trade will happen, but leave yourself a convenient escape route by saying "oh but it probably won't happen"... he has to have SOME liability in spreading this wildfire rumor, and his credibility should take a huge hit if nothing pans out.
Can I add that RAFER ALSTON isn't involved in the trade.. Which means we aren't trading for a new PG.
I take it you haven't watched the way Utah has played yao. If all you have is post passers and spot up shooters, teams like utah will single Yao and stay on the shooters. Do you think Yao is capable of dropping 35 a night in a playoff series if they single him?
If Scola or Landry will be involved and you would jump out of your seat... Could it be Amare Stoudemire?
Jerome I know you have been my biggest fan but I'm on my way to Phoenix to join the Suns. I'm gonna miss all the times we hung out and talked about my horrible shooting. Hopefully Steve can do a better job for you guys. Peace. - Rafer Alston --------------------------------------------------------- Solomon's answer:I know you're being sarcastic, Skip, but I'm just now warming up to you. Now is not the time to go.

Hmmm... Forgot one more likely trade given his history with Adelman. 9. Gerald Wallace (and Raymond Felton) for Ron Artest, Carl Landry, Luther Head.
Even if all we got was fools gold it would be better than the lump of coal we have now. TMac = Paper Tiger
Carl Landry can't be traded to Charlotte until a year has passed since he signed an offer sheet with them (September). And he has to agree to any other trade, lest he pull a Matt Geiger, being the minor player in a big trade who torpedoes a deal.
