If we manage to somehow swindle Amare from the Suns, he'd probably suffer a career ending injury prior to the whole "winning multiple championships" talk you speak of. It's just our luck.
He wants to be in New York. He wants to be "the guy" so Houston is already not a place he would want to be if that is true.
And also if Phoenix traded him why would they trade him to a team that they are competing with for a playoff spot? If they trade him it will be to the East or to a bottom feeder in the West.
Loser's mentality. Yeah right, we shouldn't do it just because Miss Cleo tells you he's going to suffer a career ending injury after becoming a Rocket.
hahahahahahahahahaha Artest and filler for one of the best young, offensive PF's in the game hahahahahahahahahaha I think even Steve Kerr is smarter than that
I agree with the guy who said he'd probably be traded to New York. But I don't know who NY would offer that would fit Amare's caliber. How about New Jersey? Amare can be the man for Jersey, and Jersey can give Phoenix Vince Carter.
I'm just waiting for one of the Yahoo basketball columnists to openly rip on Steve Kerr - who used to be a Yahoo Contributor. The guy is ridiculous - first Marion, now Amare? What is he thinking? This was a top 5 team, now it's a disaster.
trade the whole team ****. Ill trade Alston + Artest + head + 2nd round pick... can you imagine Yao n Amare on the front court? damnn
Dear Mr. Suns Fan, If Amare is so great, why is he on the block? Sin-certainly, Guy who cheered Amare getting popped in the face.
Have you not noticed to root of this whole problem to begin with? The whole reason Amare has had a "bad" year is Shaq clogs the middle and he doesn't know what to do once that happens. The moment Shaq goes to the bench Amare instantly becomes the best player on the floor. Point being: if he can't play with Shaq clogging the middle what makes you think he would be anymore effective with Yao doing the same thing?
You can imagine all you want. But Amare isn't happy playing alongside O'Meal. Why do you think it's work out in Houston?
