his play has been abysmal, but his next game will be great. never underestimate a great player even when he is in a funk. i just dont know if he has the mental make up to make it last. but the next game will be built on pride because he knows he is getting killed in the media and subtly by his teammates.

    Agreed.

I decide to trust Tmac and the rockets one more time.

Let's say for the sake of argument that T-Mac does decide to show up tonight. All that proves is it isn't his physical condition, but rather his desire to play well.

Either way - I'm ready for T-Mac to be shipped out.

Not unless he takes some antidote lolz jk. Shots to kill the pain he might have to for the rest of the season, but that is part of the game.

It seems some rockets fans want to prove Tmac is a crap more than they want the rockets to win the games.

Well prepare to be let down.

Although Tmac letting down teammates and fans isn't anything new.

It's a little to late to ask people here to not underestimate Tmac! Everbody is in freak out mode even though were doing better so far than last year. Tmac has been looking a little lazy lately though!

I would take abysmal play if he was at least trying......also think the hate would be less.

    Exactly, great post!

The Wins/Losses/stats, are secondary at this point...

T-Mac can rest if they can get big leads and maintain it just more effort would help the squad that much in helping that lead. Take some shots to kill what pain, but don't extend the issue when it's not needed.

I seriously doubt the hate would be any less. It wasn't any less last year, or the year before, or the year before....

Hit the nail on the head.

Seems alot of people around here would rather be "right," than see a 'W.'

T-Mac, right now, has put himself in a can't win situation. If he plays really well, then we'll all say that's proof that he was dogging it the last few weeks (which is probably true). If he continues to suck, he'll get ripped for it. And if he decides to sit for an extended period of time, he'll get ripped for that too.

T-Mac needs to play hard, own up to not playing hard in the past, and publicly apologize for it. That's the only way he'll earn back some good will from the fans.

Yeah 1 great game followed by a week or 2 of single digit lackluster games.

It is not about Tmac himself right now. It is actually about the rockets winning more games. The rockets need a good seed to pass the 1st round.

TMac is not only in a funk, I think it is more on effort and mental aspect of the game... As a leader, he can't show up one game and disappear the next game... The Rockets need consistency not only from TMac from for everyone else...

We're looking for consistency from MeMac, who is getting paid $20+ million this year. I don't care he goes off one game and then goes lazy the next two. I rather have Von Wafer start and bring MeMac off the bench.

The Rockets aren't going to get a good seed without T-Mac being a significant contributor.
