Again, care to say anything at all about the post entry? Just because you can type RAFERE IS TEH SUXX doesn't mean you know anything about basketball.
Artest gave him a great pass at the end of the Rockets/Pacers game where all Yao had to do was go straight up and put the ball in the rim but he hesitated and shot the ball into the rim as if the rim was 12 feet instead of 10 feet.
It's not proper to say who is the best, it's better so say who is less bad. On priciple, tmac should be the most ideal guy who should feed yao the ball because he's able to draw defense pressure and high enough to pass the ball to yao who should be wide open after his defensive pressure was drawn by tmac. But tmac always tend to finish the ball with a bad jumper. Rafer not unwilling to feed yao the ball (unlike Tmac) but he's too small to pass the ball when he's in the long legs, and he can't draw defensive attention so that yao should still be under pressure or even doubled when he delivers the ball to yao.(most times he can't hand the ball to yao though). Battier is unable to dribble so he's gonna pass yao the ball, except the senarios when he stands outside the 3line and makes a lob-pass straightly to yao who is still under tough pressure in the paint. Steve is a good option because be had been feeding yao the ball continually until he was traded to Orlando. But I still can't see when Franchise will be back.
Boy, do I miss that dude. He was our Steve Nash+Avery Johnson+surplus testicles. He brought charisma and spirits to the floor. And he fought to the last second of the game, although he looked like a grandpa salesman at Bestbuy.
definitely tmac. been watching the games courtesy of Rockets2k. and everytime they go to yao ming and he gets fronted, most players give up on the play, and throw the ball to some other guy. tmac on the other hand, if he can't dump the ball to yao when he's fronted, tmac moves and goes to another position to make the defense adjust, get a different angle and then throws it to yao again. i saw some plays where rafer when he throws the ball to yao, but yao isnt in a scoring position, yao throws the ball back. but instead of throwing it to yao again as he repositions, rafer jacks up the shot (and well, you know he misses). saw also a give and go play by yao. when he did it with rafer, nothing happened. but when he did it with tmac, tmac made a slick pass to the cutting yao for a slam.
Reading this thread gives you the impression that most guys are capable of feeding the ball to Yao with some degree of success (ahhem...thank god noone mentioned Head). So what gives? The hand that throws the pass or the hands that misses the pass? Personally I think its more physics (hands that misses the pass) than ability (hands that throws the pass). And I'm certainly more forgiving of physics than I am of "lack of" ability.
That's the point. DO NOT force anything and make it predictable. Pass the ball to AB and slash to the rim. At that time Yao has automatically inside position to box out opponent for AB's easy layup or a put back rebound if needed. Let them pay. Don't force anything to get a turnover.
