In 1968, the Houston team whipped Tulsa 100-3. In 1988, we spanked them 82-28. And in 2008, they didn't learn their lesson and came in ranked #25 in the nation and got humiliated on national TV 70-30.
to be fair, we lost 56-7 last year in the heat of the division race. but yes, that why I felt it was okay to rush the field. It was great. Biggest play- the kick return for a TD at the end of the half. They had just scored and might have gotten some momentum off of it, but carrier came in and stole it right back. That translated to excellent drives coming out of the half in the third quarter.
