YAO......please sit out until you're actually ready to play. Pathetic for a supposed superstar. Just flat out embarassing.

Both should sit their asses out. Give their minutes to guys who will give 100%, like Landry, Scola, or Hayes.

I don't know what's worse. Yao's consistent below average stats or Tmac and Ron's, great one game, absolutely horrible in another stats.

Yao played pretty damn hard last night. The high post game is not his game, and forcing him to even fake like it is 20% of the time is stupid. Given the ball in the low blocks he was really good.

Yao does not need to sit and this team is not having a meltdown.

Understand that not only are we still feeling our way as a team, the schedule is brutal the 1st half for us. The 2nd half is a peach of a schedule.

Would you rather peak too early and fall flat late or be a steady rising team that peaks at playoff time?

Yes, lets sit out Yao and have no center. A good one at least.

it is just hard as us fans to see our supposed 'superstars' play like they do. if we got ANYTHING from our 'superstars', we might have been able to keep it close going down the stretch.

i am speaking mostly of yao and tracy. artest still goes HARD on every play, his shots weren't falling and he wasn't getting calls on others. he also had to freaking defend kobe freakin bryant on the other end.

anyways, i don't want to derail the thread, so here it is. yao is playing weak and not being aggressive, but what else is new? business as usual isn't it? it won't do us any good for him to sit out, because when he comes back, he'll still be the same player.

Anything? Yao wasn't put back in until we were down 19. What was he supposed to do? He played 27 minutes, and shot 6-11 with 8 rebounds, 2 blocks and 1 steal. He was also getting hacked like crazy.

few team can handle bynum and gasol anyway. yao cant do it either. in this game 4 example, LA didnt put gasol on yao even and u kno gasol is one of teh worst matchup for yao rite. scola+landry combo at least can do better on offence.

Yao is shooting 45.7% this year...for a guy who should not be shooting very far from the basket thats not good.

He is averaging 9 rebounds a game...not terrible although right now it puts him behind the likes of Kaman, Przybilla, Bogut, Dalembert, and Troy freaking Murphy.

He is at 1.7 BPG again, not bad but not good enough for a guy as big as he is.

Yao is supposed to be the leader of our team. He is supposed to be one of the top 3 centers in the league, and many of you would argue he is the best. His performance this year so far has been very average. He is a big, slow, soft, injury prone phenomenon, and he is overrated.

Yes Rafer can't shoot with any consistency, yes TMac is struggling too. BUT Rafer isn't being called a top 3 PG and his job isn't to score, and TMac is clearly hurt and clearly hurt his ankle again last night but the fact of the matter is when the games start to really matter he is in there and he is carrying the team. I know it is early and everyone either wants to panic or thinks everything is fine and I think the truth is somewhere in the middle, but I just feel like we need to come to grips with the fact that we have an overrated Center who does not fit well with Adelman's system. I mean no one will tell you Yao is an agile cat out there and we have a coach famous for using the MOTION offense...Yao is sometimes very good at many things but motion is not one of them.

    Bring on the hate...

Why be having the hate on Yao in your heart. He is probably best man in world or solar system. He be greatest ever. Yao plays basketball for your sins.
