the rockets need to file a complaint with the league and have them investigate those referees. flops, no calls and a misdirected T? what the hell were they on? were they smoking pot with Howard before the game? :D

I swear if you refer to the refs being corrupt, or calling people douchebags again i'm gonna blow a head gasket.

Sure, those things are useful in places, but damn man - not in EVERY 2nd post.

Ron has to face reality. He's going to get jobbed on some calls due to his rep. But, that's OK.

He has the talent to do what he did tonight. Shrug it off and nail a dagger 3 to put the p%#$& Mavs out of their misery. That was an awesome shot.

The job is winning and I suspect Ron will come to work everyday.

The refs missed a double by howard, and an obvious offensive goaltending. artest did deserve the T. He barely grabbed howard before kidd pushed his hand away. He was very crafty about it making it look like he was there to make peace. Reminded me of something Rodman would, try to play the refs to get even further into your head. I believe after league review the T should stand.

Exactly. There are always head-scratching calls that go both ways, but as a player, you can't really do anything about it (except argue with a ref, which will just get you another T and you're outta there).

The only way to stick it to them is to keep making plays despite the calls, which Artest did an extremely good job of doing today.

I didn't really have a problem with the call, rather how late they called it. If it was that big of a deal, they would have called it right away, but sometimes it seems like they go out of their way to screw Artest.

i cant stop thinking about that technical, those refs were so oblivious to the actual game and what actually happened, all they heard were the fans' reactions to the event of artest running from the 3 point line, how could they not even look at what happened on the court it just seems to obvious but it makes no sense

Mr Ron Artest needs a serious apology and explanation from the league, i really felt bad for him when they showed him talking to the refs

You won't believe the amount of people who said Artest was trying to pushed or shove Howard when he ran up. He was trying to break through Kidd and Howard, in the process he tapped Howard.

Howard, then overreacted, bringing to the refs attention that Artest was doing something wrong and he gets a tech.

Most BS call I ever seen in my life.

Also take note of the elbow that Dirk gives Yao when he walks away from Howard. Yao then turns around and you can tell Dirk was scared.

Artest earned the T. He was well away from the scrum and should have stayed there. Instead he ran right toward it and poked, if not grabbed, Howard's chest. This was BEFORE he turned toward Yao to separate him.

I say this despite the fact that Josh Howard is absolute scum, a thug.

The T was a warning to Ron to never run at and grab a guy again, and just to stay away. He should heed the warning, before the next incident leads to a suspension.

Go ahead, shoot me. It's the truth.

I hate the way that word "thug" gets thrown around. He may not be a good person but he's not a thug.

Ron on the other hand was not trying to poke Howard in the chest. He was trying to move past him and push Yao out of there.

First off wow ron artest your a angel sent from God. Ive never been so excited to see someone dive on the floor. You play basketball like everyone should. you box out you do everything fundamentally sound. But anyway getting to the point you need to challenge that tech because it was stupid. look at no American howard he push yao. you my friend were just protecting your big man. what a class act of a player and teammate.

    P.S vote McCain

Sorry Will, I respect your opinions, but I have to disagree with you on one point.

You're right, Ron earned his T. But, I hope he earns it again in the future. He should not heed the warning, and he should not stay away.

He wasn't instigating anything, but he was defending his teammate aggressively. Good for him. Josh Howard is a thug, and Ron is our enforcer.

I don't think he should throw Howard to the ground like Bobby Sura did, but damn, that was awesome to see! Sura earned his T too.

Ron did the right thing. Period. That T should have been called on Howard for tripping and trying to start stuff with Yao. I love the fact Yao wasn't having any of it though. Howard better watch out or Yao might put his full body weight on him.

No way Howard would pull that crap vs. Shaq.

I've always been sympathetic towards Ron, especially in the infamous Pacers-Pistons incident. As far as the rules go, he deserved the penalties for that incident, but he got such a bad rap about it when it was a stupid fan that started the whole thing.

Ron Ron, you are OUR man!!!

i can hardly believe the fisrt action when Ron rushed to Howard was to separate Yao and Howard. but fortunately, his sensability conquered his habbits :D
I respect this guy. Ron, I love you in a non-gay way.
