In regards to hurricane Gustavo I made a comment in reference to not wanting it to hit Nawlins sending more scum this way. Starting a new thread for such a contemplation it not necessary.
I think the models will start to shift some to the West because of the current jog to the WSW. I know the projections called for it to run Westward for a while, but things are already off plan for some that had it projected it to be closer to Cuba than it is at the present time. Perhaps towards Sabine Pass or somewhat West of that.

how useless are these prediction models? not a single one of them predicted a turn SW. the turn wasn't even that far into the future, like what, less than a day? seems like an exercise in meterological masturbation to me. mother nature > *
