New year, new team , new jerseys. I just would rather they Houston on the front, the cut is not all that important...and some Nasa patches(on the warm-ups) like the Astro's would be sweet, we are the Rockets after all.
I don't understand how management thinks our logo and jerseys are "cool" and something people would wear. I don't have any Rockets gear with the logo or jerseys for that reason. It's hideous... And it's just red and white? ... Cool? The cuts are so wide that when you wear the replica jersey the ends curl up and your shoulders look like pads. The space font is getting annoying also. Lets have a change of cuts and fonts and add a third color and i will be happy.

That black and red jersey is sick!!!!! That is by far the best looking uniform in the league! I wish the Rockets would adopt that. Morey, If you're out there, get it done! Jersey sales would skyrocket!!! No pun intended. I would buy the first one off the presses and I have never owned a jersey before.

IIRC, the NBA has put a moratorium on black alternates. Basically, almost every team in the league wants a black alternate and the NBA doesn't want this saturation with every team having a black jersey. So don't expect to see them anytime soon.
The championship throwback unis that everyone seems to want to go back to are just red and white with maybe one thin strip of yellow on the trim. What's wrong with red and white? Would you rather have something more unique like fuchsia and orange?
i like the current jersey. better than the flying dildo. championship years jerseys were cool.......for 1995. not 2008.
I don't mind the jerseys but I think thats more a result of having to deal with things when the Rockets changed to pinstripes. I loved the old jerseys but understand that its about marketing and that keeping it different allows them to sell the current and retro ones. I'd like to see something new that doesn't look like a coke can.
Someone here did a photoshop of our retro colors and text on an updated jersey, i beleive it was the lakers cut and it looked so freakin perfect. It was classic, stylish and timeless.
