Yao comments, great convo with Yao this morning. Just Yao wants to win, told Yao everything will be alright.

Talk about the brawl, not that big understood Yao's concerns.

    Happy to be a Rocket.

Wants people to look at him for who he is, not just the past. Hoping to improve his image.

Understood why Tmac never made it out of the first round. Has a good chance this year.

Repeated if Yao not out last year, Rockets would be real good. Wouldn't need him if Yao was healthy.

Thats pretty much sums it all up. Maybe minor details but nothing important.

Artest and Dorsey are going to be fan favorites, if they don't do anything un-called for.

After all the Yao business, they asked what he thought of Tmac and how everybody rides him for not getting out of the first round. Artest alluded to MJ with the Bulls and how they brought pieces around him. Similarly, TMac now has that opportunity.

Also asked how well he thinks the Rox are gonna do now. He said he already believed we couldve won the championship last year if Yao hadn't gone down. He says now he can't even see us losing (not in an overly egotistical way). He cited that after all the external humbleness someone can show on the outside, competitors still want to win it all in the end.

I thought it was a great interview. Shows he is dedicated to winning. He's honest, and he's ready to win.

Um, what he said was if Yao'd been healthy we had a chance to win it all last year. He was just saying the Rockets didn't necessarily need him to contend.
