    I have six:

    Scottie Pippen
    Stromile Swift
    Vin Baker
    Juwan Howard
    Kelvin Cato
    Maurice Taylor

The last three primarily in terms of price/performance ratio.

There are several more (pelbeani made a good list), but I'll leave it at that...

You really don't know who Charles "grandpa" Jones is? I think he was older than Deke when he played for us. And Chucky (chucky who?) brown didn't suck.

I don't agree with a lot of this stuff. For example Matt Maloney? The guy beat the Sonics. We shipped out yalls demi-gods (Cassell/Horry/Brown) cuz we couldn't beat the Sonics. Maloney was Skywalker.

i'll accept Maloney, but those other guys were CBA call ups, I don't think they count.
Drew, yeah, well he sucked too.

Glen Rice left his jumper in Charlotte

As far as efficiency is concerned, bit players like Charles Johnson or E-mail don't count. The five worst IMO based on production per playing time IMO were

    1. Matt Maloney
    2. Kelvin Cato
    3. Chuck Hayes (he started for us for a year and a half, 'nuff said)
    4. Ryan Bowen
    5. Brent Price

    1. "Two Sandwiches" Hamilton
    2. Charles Jones (More career fouls than points).
    3. Dan Langhi
    4. Zerge Zwikker
    5. Kelvin Cato

IT seems like a lot of these are top 5 most disappointing Rockets, or most annoying Rockets.

But they aren't necessarily the worst Rockets as far as what they did for the team or ability.

Buck Johnson may not have lived up to his potential, but he was by no means amongst the 5 worst ever.

    Dave Feitl
    Dave Jamerson
    David Wood
    Chris Jent
    John Turner

I think this has to be based on the amount invested in them, so Pippen and Maloney were the worst. VSpan was the most annoying. Francis and Griffin were the most frustrating.

Thank you. Eddie was a really nice guy and had all the talent in the world. His off court problems really did set us back, but I don't think you can say he was the Worst 5 Players to wear a Rox uniform.

    This is a stupid thread.

Cato was a plus player his last 2 years in the role that was expected...everyone chooses to forget...

I agree with Eddie. expectation vs. results ratio is pretty huge

World B Free had some memorable games...maybe one that I remember that he turned back the clock. We got him late in his career.

Buck Johnson (& Walter Berry from St. Johns) were interesting players to watch. They were ok. They teased you with what they could be...

Derrick was also interesting to watch...expectations were high...I don't think he delivered...he had decent games though...

David Wood dunked on James Worthy (his last season in the league)
    I remember that.

And Cato played a major role in our 2003 team which was the #1 defensive team in the league. I still remember how Yao and Cato completely shutted down the paint most of the time.
