They said that it's non transferable. The ticket has their name on it and they'll be checking ID's. They could give you the ticket but you're not getting in.
Wow, THANK YOU SO MUCH Oski!!!! got one of the last 5 tickets at the indy imax. Even though it is a 1:30 hour drive each way for me and about 30 dollars in gas money, it is totally worth it.
Coming along slower than I remembered it taking for my other one a few years ago. I'm walking just fine, and I can jog moderately on a tread mill, but I'm still not even close to running...and I wouldn't even think of jumping on it, which scares me the most. That's something I've always been able to do really well and it would suck if that never got back to normal. I just got committed to working out again really seriously about 4 months ago, and trying to increase my vertical to 40"+ was part of my "by the end of '08" goal. Does that make you feel crappy enough, or should I continue? j/k After all, you know what Bruce Bowen says. "What goes up, must come down on my foot."
Dammit, Oski. Why'd you have to post that while I was at work? I've been waiting for this movie for approximately 35 years. I guess I started waiting for it when I first caught SuperFriends at age 4 and became obsessed with Batman to the point of going as him for Halloween for the next 20 years. Not to mention the fact that, regardless of all the BS nicknames people hand out to people like Shane Battier, I actually am Batman. At least here. If there's a cf.net gathering around this and somebody has an extra, I'll cover the concessions during and the beers after. If not, that's cool too. I have a lot of friends that want to see it with me; I just don't want to wait. Regardless, for the first time ever, I actually believe we're about to see a GREAT Batman movie. I had high hopes for Batman Begins and they were met. That was the first decent Batman movie. This one's going to be great. I can feel it in my bones.
HORSE**** Damn my job that I have to wake up early for! I might have seen this in time had I not had to wake up at 4:30 am this morning. Oh well, I guess I'll go see it when it releases like most everyone else.
Batman Begins was way more than decent. That was a great movie. The Dark Knight will simply surpass it. Kinda like how the greatness of Star Wars was topped by Empire.
i thought the michael keaton batmans were great, especially for their time. seems like it's become chique lately to say how awful they were, but for superhero movies made 20 years ago, the first couple were good.
