What is that him against a jr high team? Come on....there is no way to watch that video and NOT giggle. DD
Kind of what I was thinking... but I mean, according to their mock draft, if JR Giddens is still available at #54 we better SNAG him up.
Exactly he looked like he was playing against little kids, and he still didn't look like he was that good!!!
I'd take him, even though he's probably not going to be that great. Rockets could use a Project player with real upside every now and then, just for ya know, a few years later on. Everyone wants that next big piece that will magically put us in the finals but this kid could be something. maybe
Tell me that was the equivalent to high school basketball in the USA. Born in '89, so that should make this kid around 18-19yrs old? Pick him up in the 2nd, and stash him there for a couple years. Looks better than the Malik Badaine guy.
He actually did not look that impressive, even against high schoolers. And FT's do not belong in a highlight mix.
How tall is this dude? In the video there was hardly anyone his height. Can't evaluate this dude when video shows him against a bunch of high school kids. He does not have a NBA ready body. This video should be for college scouts to watch and not for NBA scouts.
I have seen this video before.I don't know how old it is, but he is as all of you have said, very raw. I agree with Angkor Wat,that he seems better than Malick Badiane.Clearly a 2nd rounder,IMO as well.

That 2008 Summit video was pretty impressive IMO. If we DID draft him... just think. From watching that video, who does he remind you of MOST on defense? Reminds me of our old friend from the Congo (as well as Ibaka) Mt. Mutumbo. Im not a big fan of all of his turnaround fadeaway jumpshots, but I do like his energy and athleticism. At pick 25, if no one better is there and we can't slide down in the draft... why not, bring the youngster on board.
