I haven't lived there in a long time, so I'm not up on the current restaurants. Just about everything there is some kind of chain.
really depends what your looking into as in the atmosphere and type of food. i've heard don pico's is nice, but its not really a formal area. i've also heard that cullen's (space center towards on your way towards pasadena from cl) is also nice.
Zios is actually one my favorites...good food and reasonable...Outside of that, there is a brazilian meat place off of Nasa Road One/Hwy 3 ish... Of course, you can't forget Pappasito's and Pappas Seafood...Why not go to Kemah...Tookie's has some awesome burgers and rings...
Korean BBQ, Thai Seafood, Mogul, Killen's (more like the Friendswood side of Pearland, but close enough to Clear Lake).
no they really are. Everything at Red Lobster is amazing in fact. Taking a date there is a sure fire way to score.
First of all, the Fogo wanna be place on Nasa Rd 1 sux big donkey nutz. Do not go there! Best authentic Indian - Shalamar on Highway 3 Best Indian for white folx - Cuisine of India on Nasa Parkway Best Thai - Gourmet Thai on Bay Area Blvd Best Mexican - Lupe Tortilla on Bay Area Blvd Best Steakhouse - Perrys Steakhouse (my favorite) Best Chinese - there is none. its all your typical buffet crap. Actually there is a place on Nasa Rd 1 on the right after Egret Bay that is not bad. Best Greek - Its next to 24 Hour fitness and Hancock Fabrick on El Camino (dont remember the name of the place) Best Seafood - Tommys next to CL high school on Bay Area Blvd. Best Pizza - Its on Bay Area Blvd right across Fast Signs. Best Italian - Carabbas on Bar Area Blvd Best Wings - BW3s What else?
Ive driven past that Putt Putt place on nasa road 1. the colors on the outside drew my attention. has anyone else been there and is it worth going?
my faves: Masa Sushi, Thai Cottage (I believe there are two other locations in Houston), Freebirds, the new Red Sushi in Kemah is awesome. Anyone been to the new restaurant, Cullen's?
Can you tell us more about this place? I live in Pearland, so I've probably never just driven by this place. I've never heard of it, and they don't even have a listing on b4-u-eat. What are some of the better dishes there? What makes it so authentic?
sushi: tokyo bowl (warning - that place gets crowded) thai: merlion or thai seafood burgers: tookie's steaks: perry's (way overpriced though) italian: they pretty much all suck seafood: try kemah - but its totally hit or miss mass-market flavor...
