I figured with the way the series has gone so far, we could all use some cheering up. I'm not sure how to embed videos, but here's the link: http://www.maniacworld.com/2008-Mascot-Bloopers.html Several of these feature own very own Clutch!
excellent... Clutch is the MAN! I guess that shows that he truly is one of the craziest mascots in the country I couldnt believe that there was one for the comets mascot. thats one more highlight video than the comets team has been in
Very funny; other than Clutch, I've always been partial to the Raptor and the Phoenix Gorilla. And who can forget TURBO!
That was awesome! Some of those look REALLY painful -- especially the guy who jumped from the trampoline, and missed the mat. Some of the Clutch ones were staged afaik (cake, popcorn, etc.), but they are still awesome!
I too am confused. How can this exist both on the big screen at the arena, and here on my computer--ON DIFFERENT DAYS???
I was wondering if Rockets made this video and showed it at TC or if they jacked it. Keep your pants on.
I wonder if the one where Clutch trips while running up the steps and drops the cake on the lady is staged. The expression of the guy next to her looked pretty real.
Watching that video, all I could think of was the Rocket Cheerleaders who do the trampoline dunks. One of these days, one of them is going to mess up and it's not going to be pretty.
Two of those, are part of a movie called "The Sixth Man" so its not really a blooper, because it was planned. That movie is awesome, is one of the best movies about basketball
Report: Dentist suing Bulls over mascot mishap by FOXSports.com Updated: April 23, 2008, The Chicago Bulls have had their fair share of problems this season. Now even the team's mascot is in hot water. A Chicago-area dentist is suing the team, claiming damages over a mishap involving Benny the Bull, the Chicago Tribune reported on its Web site. According to the lawsuit filed in Cook County Circuit Court, Barry Anderson, who portrays the Bulls' mascot, grabbed the arm of Dr. Don Kalant Sr. as he fell, hyperextending the doctor's arm and rupturing his biceps muscle, the newspaper reported. "Benny's flying down the aisle, giving everybody high-fives," Kalant's attorney, Shawn Kasserman, told the Tribune. "When he gets to Dr. Kalant, he either inadvertently trips or, as part of the shtick, trips. ... He grabbed Kalant's arm and fell forward." Kalant later had surgery on his arm, and could miss up to four weeks of work as a result of the injuries, his lawyer claims. Kalant is seeking unspecified damages for medical bills, physical pain and lost earnings.
