Ok. The jazz suck. Get bailed out by the refs like they always ****ing do. We were down 2 starters, and still played a great game. Don't blame it on anyone (except possibly scola, just awful). We don't have Yao or Rafer, big deal if we get booted out the 1st. That just shows you how much the jazz suck. We would've blown them out. Just be patient. Our time will come.
Worse refed game I seen in my life. Not all the refs fault though, we shot ourselves in the foot at the free throw line...BULLS*** game and refs... F&#&
half of that statement you made is ignorant. The Jazz do have a stronger team and played better. Even if we have Yao and Rafer, we wouldn't be blowing them out. Your comment is to sooth our feelings after this ugly losses. But we did cause these two losses by US sucking on FTs and layups and players choking and Hayes fouling. Even if the ref didn't make that call, we didn't deserve to win this one. If we did, it would have been a fluke too...
refs are stupid, but they did alot better than last game. FREE THROWS. FREE THROWS. anyone in this board, and thier mom, if they get paid that much money to play basketball, can make more free throws than these players can.
But they changed the game at the end. You can't deny that. AK flopped like there was no tomorrow and got the call.
its not the refs, it was the missed ft's , layups, and lack of rebounding, oh we've seen this script before
The problem with the NBA is how absurdly inconsistent the officiating standards are. It's been this way for years, and it's by far the worst of all major sports. If you follow the rulebook, to the letter, yes -- Scola pushed Kirilenko. However, the unofficial rulebook says that it had nothing to do with the play and was in the final minute, so it shouldn't be called. Can't begin to recite how many times I've heard the "no blood, no foul" cliche thrown out to describe NBA officiating in the final two minutes. Now, I could understand and accept it, if the officials had been consistent with this following the rulebook to a T mentality. But about 30 seconds earlier, Okur slammed Scola to the floor, making no play whatsoever on the ball and not even coming close -- but no flagrant, I'm sure on the justification that you can't call a flagrant at that point in the game. Pick a school of thought, and stick with it. NBA refs don't -- and haven't for years. It's such a shame.
