This is not a trade Yao thread. I didn't want to do this thread for tmac cause right now most people thinks he sucks. With the playoffs starting we have already seen some great performances. So which of these players would you consider trading Yao for not considering anything other than on the court performance. I just want a gauge of how good people think Yao is.

7'6" Yao gives Tim Duncan Fits! Nobody as a true center can match up with Yao. Not Gasol, Garnett, Not Duncan, Not an Aging Shaq. Not Big Z and certainly not Eddy Curry.

    Nope, No trade

Dwight Howard...he is dominating the Raptors right now.

I'd trade Yao for CP3 straight up.

Would also take LeBron for Yao.

Deron Williams. Most would pick Paul but Williams owns Paul and most other point guards. Plus he has size and bullies small guards but not many guards can do the same to him. Plus it gives us a solid scorer and the PG we've always needed.

    No one.

He's one of the few players in the NBA who presents a mismatch 95% of the time. And he's among the few totally selfess players in a league dominated by egos.

Because you can't build a contender around a guy who misses a third of the season every year.

I'm all for giving this team another shot in '08-'09, but if Yao goes down again, they have to seriously consider going in a different direction.

What good is it if a big man gives up 3 offensive rebounds in a row to someone a foot shorter which ends up costing you the game?
