Zboy, Looks like a regular season guy to me. He wilted in last year's playoffs. If he had performed, they would have the ring right now. Guess who he lost to? Duncan.
Zboy, sorry, for degrading your favorite player, man. Until he wins a playoff, he's just another Charles Barkley or Malone, PF with great numbers. If the NBA gave rings away for lots of points in the regular season, the suns would be NBA champs, now.
Is it illegal for the Suns to play defense on Tony Parker? What does the NBA rule book have to say about this?
Since when is basketball an individual game? Amare vs. the Spurs in the playoffs last year scored 20+ pts every game, and shot over 50% in 4 of his 5 games. He had a combined 10 block shots and averaged 10 rebounds. In the final game 6 loss, he had 38 pts, 12 rebounds, 4 blocked shots. Have you considered the possibility they lost that series due to other players not performing? Or is a guy automatically a regular season guy if he doesn't win a title?
maybe i haven't been paying attention all this time, but i never realized kurt thomas was such a flopper. he's been racking them up in this game. granted, everyone is flopping so maybe he's just following along but he fell down like he was shot with raja bell barely hitting him.
He's an all-timer. IMO, few players in NBA history have gotten away with dishing out more punishment while also being great floppers than Kurt Thomas. He is a VERY intelligent player who's figured things out and would make a great "big man's" coach.
I believe Shaq just told Duncan, "Dont foul" after he made that free throw. If I were Duncan I would call the bluff.
Yeah, it's sad. He automatically joins the "best player to never win a title" club with T-Mac, Barkley, Elgin Baylor, Stockton and Malone.
Yo, Captain Clueless, 88-86 Spurs. You are on quite a roll today. Is this your first NBA post-season game?
