Guys, my wife and I have, off and on, tried to assist a no-kill animal shelter out on the north side of town. They are very good people and often take in animals who have had a VERY rough time of it. They are almost always in need of support because they don't have the big name like the SPCA or CAPS, but they are very worthy because they will do anything to protect stray animals. They are trying to purchase 10 acres of land in Waller County so they can have enough space to take care of animals while still keeping an adoption center open.
