Can't tank now. The streak ruined getting an excellent player to replace T-Mac after we trade his b**** ass this summer!

So, lets see if a holy basketball miracle happens...and we make it to round 2. :(

Sucks for Yao to be injured. But the rest of the players and coaches on the team have worked too hard and done too much to let the season go. There is no quitting man!

We can make the playoffs, but ahead of 1st round, not so sure. We lost the best center in the NBA and that s really bigggggggggggggggg.

Now that we were playing our best ball, a big injury comes to ruin it.

hmm why do you keep reiterating that you are a "true" fan yet want us to tank and want to trade TMac for being injury prone the same day Yao is hurt.. strange...

    First round and Out.

    They can't just give up.

If they start to drop like dead animals, then ok, lottery it is.

This. We win while playing our young guys(scolandry).

I don't think playing AB will necessarily help with his development. And Green or Novak? **** no.

Build chemistry, build the system, play your hearts out, see what happens.

I don't think the draft would significantly help us unless we WON the damn lotto. And that's what? less than a 1 percent chance if we miss the playoffs?

Remember how the Spurs got Tim Duncan with Robinson? You can't purposely tank the season with as many good people as we have and our current record but if we do happen to go lottery and get another great Big, I vote Roy Hibbert. The other upcoming big men are just too young and raw.

It's too late to tank. So keep up with the same pace and hope for the best result.

Cruel reality, but I think we should not give up so easily, that does not conform to the spirit of competition in sports

Will never be in favor of tanking, still think this team has enough to win, will be a hellva lot harder but you can never just give up

This team's going to the playoffs. It's just a matter of whether we win the division. We will have good flow offensively out there which should serve us well.I think Scola and Landry's impact now is already being underestimated. Both can finally dust off their games and show the full repetroire.Interior defense is the problem as I see it.Deke will help, but we need to pick up another big body. This is a chance for our talented youngsters to shine. We really don't know their upside yet.It wouldn't shock me for the team chemistry to be really good.Yao is a heck of a player, but we have a very good coach and plenty of talent.Forget about not making the playoffs. We're going to have home court advantage. From there who knows, but this team will rally from this.

How many picks higher will the Rockets probably be if they don't make the playoffs?
