Hopefully we get the Mutumbo of 1994 tonight to plug that lane. Or it might be smallball tonight.

this team can win games without yao or tmac for stretches now b/c we're that deep.

as long as we come to play with intensity, we should be fine.

the wiz are without butler AND arenas.

it's time for scola/landry to put in major work.

It's okay! Take a rest big fella. Rest the next game too. Just come back healthy and we need to kick the Mavs ass.

Yao Ming to Miss Wizards Game Tuesday

The Houston Rockets announced this morning that All-Star center Yao Ming will not play against the Washington Wizards later tonight because of a sore left foot.

The Rockets have won their last twelve games and could make history by winning the next two games to 'sweep' the month of February. The team was two games below .500 before the amazing winning streak.

The Rockets Director of Media Relations, Nelson Luis, told reporters after practice that Yao has been examined by team physician Dr. Tom Clanton and the club is awaiting the results.

Luis said there has been no one incident that caused this problem. He said Yao's foot has been sore in recent days and the club has been treating it.

Yao was at Toyota Center for a short time this morning and Luis said he is at the Doctor's office as this report is being written.

Well, I said in the other thread about Yao's ankle that I doubted he would sit out a game unless he absolutely had to.

    Looks like I was wrong.
