Not sure what feed you guys have, but here in NOLA, they're interviewing Bonzi and Mike James. Mike James said the first thing he felt when he heard about the trade was that he hated to leave Houston. He's also telling the players on the Hornets to attack Yao Ming on the P&R b/c he can't guard it.

 

Great first half, can't let up on the intensity. You know New Orlean have a run in them, hope we can weather it and win this game! Let go Rockets!!!!!!!!!

 

Let's hope they keep it up and not get in foul trouble.

 

Absolutely. If the refs can't do their job, they should be replaced. This isn't just a case of one or two bad calls. This is a blatant attempt to skew the game in New orleans favor.

I love the Scola/Landry combo right now. Hayes is a good asset on D, but his O puts us at such a big disadvantage.

MJ is just doing his job, trying to help out his new team, but it's not like everyone in the league doesn't already know that Yao has trouble with PnR, so no big deal.

I wanna go back to people b****ing about Rafer right quick. Yes, he is 2-8 but guess who else is? Chris Paul! He has 8 assists to Paul's 6, is playing his ass off on defense so far and only has 1 turnover. At least 3 of his misses were desperation shots with the clock ticking down whereas all of Paul's shots have pretty much been taken in the flow of the offense. Rafer is just covering him up.

Rafer is not playing that bad when you look at the big picture here. Yeah that missed layup was completely unreal and terrible but he is not having a bad game when you look at his overall production on both ends of the floor.

 

Looks like the ROX steamroller have broken their spirit.

the calls aren't even close. we are getting pushed around and hacked, yet no fouls. cp3 runs into Scola and Chandler pushes Yao, we get called for a foul.

 

Yao must feel very depressed, as Landry and Scola has robbed so many rebounds in front of him.

 

What did Bonzi say?

 

Up by 16 at the half. I guess the Hornets will have surge at the start of the third, so the Rockets just have to keep it together.
