Maybe he'll say his brother is coming to Houston.

    EDIT:

Didn't hear rumors of him being waived.

Said, "Does Houston even need him?"

JB: Bobby Jackson always hurt. Good move for New Orleans. Addition by subtraction for Houston.

I love Barry, I would easily welcome a trade Barry for Clyde.

Bobby Jackson can take Mike James's position as end of the bench warmer. He'll never play.

Or Van Exel for that matter. I thought Nick is really good on the radio.

Have you ever seen him play? He scored 17 against the Mavs his last game, he can still play . Dont say you rather have Head play ahead of him. He will get a lot of Head's mins.

agreed.. BJ will be picking up most of Heads and AB's minutes right away. That is, until he gets injured which is probably inevitable.

To me BJ and Head pretty much does the same thing, I think RA is going to give mins to whoever is making their shots.

Yes. Many of us watched that game. And (probably because of CP3) a few others where Jackson's basically been invisible against teams that already had their defensive rotations locked in.

You don't need to be a math major to figure out if he got 17 vs DAL and averages 7.1 there must be some 0-fers in there. Like GS and CHI. 2 ppg vs ORL, TOR & ATL. And 3 in a prior meeting with Kidd.

The idea is to reduce Rafer's minutes.

That was the goal in the off season, that's still the goal today.

Aaron isn't doing horrible (though I had some real rafer moments with him last night when he was floating the ball at the basket and making me want to cry) but he's a rookie.

To have someone with experience you can work into the rotation for a playoff push and decrease Rafer's minutes is a good thing.

Actually I think, watching the past 2-3 weeks, however long we've been on this winning streak, Aaron really has been horrible. He still pushes the ball well and gets the occasional assist, but for whatever reason his shooting has been in the gutter. Maybe he's hit the rookie wall, maybe he just took a hit in confidence.

Here's his shooting %s by month:

    Dec 16-39 .410
    Jan 29-72 .403
    Feb 12-37 .324

I know the sample size is small, but Morey is correct in saying we needed more help at the backup PG over backup wing. Aaron still has a lot of potential, but at this point he needs to be sitting and learning, because this trial by fire isn't working.

    That was great, thanks :)

In free agency Morey sent Rashard a Rockets jersery when they tried to get him. Maybe this time around they send a jersey with Mrs. Brent Barry on the back :D

Ummm... I don't know what the hell you guys are smoking.

Luther Head is twice the player B-Jack is at this point, and he is young and developing. Taking away his minutes for Jackson would be foolish. I don't see Adelman doing it.

    In practice, maybe.
In real games, Bobby Jackson is a 10 times better PG than Head as a PG.

if you don't understand this move, stop wasting your time on basketball, do something else.
