Minnesota Timberwolves guard Gerald Green tells FOX 26 Sports he has been traded to his hometown Houston Rockets for guard Kirk Snyder and a second-round draft pick. Green, in his third year in the NBA, went to Gulf Shores Academy High School in Houston. He was drafted in the first round out of high school by the Boston Celtics. "It's like a dream come true. Never in my life did I think this would happen," Green said. "I am on cloud nine." Green was traded by Boston to Minnesota in that blockbuster deal involving Kevin Garnett. He won the Slam Dunk Title in 2007 and was runner-up in 2008. http://www.myfoxhouston.com/myfox/p...n=2&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=6.1.1
what's the deal with this guy? people keep talking him up on here but he was barely cracking the rotation on a sh!tty minnesota team.
I'll take it, but why did the Rockets have to give up a pick? Just for the notoriety of Green in the Dunk Contest next year?
LOL how about working on that jumper Gerald? As shown by Daryll Dawkins, there is little respect or value for him throughout the league right now.
I still want Brent Barry. Green is a project that they can lock up on a cheap contract for the next couple of years.
